Pretty sure you mean a fourth season of Animal Kingdom. The third season is airing now (and it is awesome).

My reactions to this story as it’s been developing over the week have been so severe back and forth I now have whiplash.

I’m sorry but fuck a turtle.

Also out today is the second album by the dreampop experimental pop band with the amazing name Let’s Eat Grandma. I’ve only listened all they way through one time and really enjoying it so far.

My tastes tend to run dark...

Love is Dead is one of those albums that’s so bad it makes you reconsider your once lofty opinion of the first two albums.

That ionnalee album is incredible. I especially love the duets with Jamie Irrepressible and TR/ST.

What the hell was wrong with everyone in 1986? ...

Now playing

Great choice of the Chameleons album, but wrong song. “Swamp Thing” from Strange Times is their best track and one of the most achingly beautiful songs ever recorded. It still gets regular play at your local goff club and brings all the old goths to the dancefloor.

My two favorite novels I’ve read so far this year are:

LOL, at least you’ve given them a considerable chance. I honestly feel like most people did not understand the whole Architect scene and just wrote off the rest of the movie. But there’s so much I love about them... the Mobil Ave/Limbo train station, anything involving the Merovingian, the highway chase scene, I even

Yes, my #1 on this topic. Pretty Hate Machine alone means I’ll buy everything NIN does, but I really haven’t been into anything he’s put out for a while. Today’s Bad Witch is a solid example. Trent should not croon.

Hot take: The Matrix sequels are hugely underrated and pretty incredible movies. Also thought Sense8 was fantastic from start to finish, so personally I think the Wachowskis have made a strong return to form.

It’s a crime that QAF is on this list and Looking is not. QAF may not have stooped to ‘Kill Your Gays,’ but each episode was practically an example of all the other bad gay tropes.

One of my favorite gay movies is Greg Berlanti’s “Broken Hearts Club,” which has such a refreshing take on gay friendships and relationships.

The Antoni shade is strong here.

Can’t tell if that thing on his chin is hair, tattoo, or burned himself with a crack pipe.

Sometimes you gotta use what your momma gave ya... whether it was genetics or (in Kim’s case) an open line of credit at the Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Center.

Came here to post exactly this. Given that the Moses Farrow article is not mentioned here, I suspect the author and most commenters are not aware of it. It didn’t get nearly the attention that Dylan’s story has.

I really enjoyed this show and thought it hit all the right notes that Roland Emmerich’s gawd-awful Stonewall movie missed. Some of the acting was mediocre, but honestly I didn’t care because it’s clear they hired trans who bring an authenticity and believable experience to this show.
