Hey, First Blood was actually really awesome too. It's a really great tragic horror movie that digs into how PTSD can screw somebody's life up. Like Rocky, though, it became more cartoonish with every sequel, until it laid dormant for a while and got revived a couple of decades later with a return to form.

I get the idea that Sandler is the opposite. He did have some really good dramatic turns in Punch Drunk Love and Funny People, but doesn't seem particularly interested in doing anything more than cheap crap.

I can't even tell you how many times I've seen that shit this election season. And now we're stuck with the shittiest of shit sandwiches.
