I hope this means we’re getting more diesels!

Alex Roy did a cross country drive in a Tesla Model S in autonomous mode, cruising at 90-95 mph. I’m guessing it doesn’t apply to rural Interstates?
Yep. CAFE encourages car makers to build larger vehicles or “light trucks” due to vehicles having a larger footprint having more lax FE targets. The VW and MB spokespeople said this themselves.
OF COURSE they target the more efficient 3.0 V6 diesel used in Ram and Jeep models and not the larger V8+ Cummins used in heavy duty trucks for decades (<— do they even have any regs for those anyway?)!
My only disappointment, being a fan of everything foreign, is the lack of km/h on the US version’s speedometer.
Or not. This is pretty common with anyone who looks remotely brown if you’ve been following the news. They even kicked off a guy who was doing math and made a passenger uncomfortable. MATH!

Fuck off back to the facebook comment section then.
ONLY IN AMERICA* do people set up gofundme’s for life threatening health conditions.
I always hear this argument and I always say that there’s plenty of fuel efficient small cars on the used car market.
I’m soo glad someone did it in retaliation for once, especially where it hurts: truck market.
Fascist.
With the trajectory of things now, you’d have expect them to drive literal monster trucks.
Member when the Passat was a borderline 3 series alternative?
Visit India or China and you’ll be grateful for all the EPA regs. No, seriously, do it. The pollution and smog is unreal. The speed you travel on the highway for example is not limited by road design or the car, it’s determined by the visibility from the wall of smog surrounding you. You really have to be there.
It’s more so that the Versa sedan is a hot seller in the USA.
This. Visiting New Delhi and India in general makes me grateful to have the EPA.
Every 4x4 should be offered with a base trail ready trim:
They should do a LADA next!
AWD helps get that leverage too.
