Yes, I noticed highs being flashed during risky overtaking maneuvers (going on the wrong side to get around) at night. A lot of cars actually drive with their highs on at night over there like it’s normal and the resulting glare is terrible and blinding on country roads.

On a recent trip to India, my brother and I noticed you can’t go 10 seconds without hearing a horn. Literally. It became obvious the horn was generally used on the Indian subcontinent as a type of alert that you’re approaching another vehicle and to let other drivers know where you were spacially in relation to them.…
