Dude seriously, not to mention all the Hollywood/Beverly Hills residents.

Doug, if you want women's attention, drive a BMW with a nice haircut and some stubble. True story. http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/woman-barked-a…
The lower your car is, the more screwed you will be when someone hits you from the side. Their bumper will hit you ABOVE where your reinforced crash structure is. Basically much more likely to be injured and your car totaled in accidents.
If we didn't salt our roads up in the Northern US, a lot of these vehicles would still be prevalent... *sigh* At least the salt keeps our emmissions in check with people dumping their cars for newer ones when the rust starts coming.
This should be at the top.
I would GLADLY support these lower city speed limits if it meant that Interstate speed limits would be reasonable (at least 75 mph).
You're not forgetting the US is getting the A3 TDi Sportback?
At least Europeans can import them.
I think the largest EU market Honda that's also sold in the US is the CR-V.
What it REALLY comes down to is making a business case considering the US and Canada's intentionally differing vehicle safety regulations (FMVSS & CMVSS) from the global standard (UNECE). Why would they want to spend money essentially developing two different cars? I hope that free trade deal harmonizes several of…
I kind of wish they had an option for steering wheel and pedals. Seems like a fun little car to drive :/
Now we should do the top ten DISHONEST cars! You know, like cheap cars trying to appear more expensive, things like that.
Pretty much how I feel. I drive a mint low mileage 5th gen in that color, but in sedan form. I can't complain. Quality, refinement, and feedback are pretty good compared to other cars in its class for that era. Abundance of soft touch materials too (mine is leather). But I'm getting bored of it and, as my SN suggests,…
And yet we still don't require sidemarker signals on the fender/mirrors. It actually helps A LOT when you're at an angle where you don't see the front or rear bkinkers.
The US and Canada do not accept global UNECE vehicle regulations due to market "protection." That's the main reason. Otherwise, you could buy it almost anywhere else in the world, even if you needed to import it.
FYI, we get neither the A4 Avant nor the Passat wagon here in the US. But we do get the Allroad version of the A4.
We are living in a golden age of vehicle lineup choices in the USA. But it seems the crossover market is becoming saturated. Give us more hatchbacks and wagons!
I'm not the abolish all government type, but abolish the NHTSA. We don't need it. UN ECE global standards were born in 1958 and we should just switch to that. The rest of the world besides Canada either requires or accepts them.
Front-side amber reflectors. Ruins the look of many cars IMO. Then again, it's unique to replace or delete them.
Don't you need rear fogs fitted?
