I think 2.5 I-5 is archaic. The common petrol motor the rest of the world besides North America is offered is the 1.4 TSI with 138 bhp and 185 lb-ft.. not sure about fuel economy, but most likely big numbers.

Think the red RS pictured looks decent. But what I really want to see in this segment for N. America is the VW Polo to compete with the Fit, Versa, Yaris, Sonic, Fiesta, etc. Such a big company and they still have NADA in this segment. Also, Polo GTI could compete with the Fiesta ST, right? Just like Golf GTI vs Focus…
