Putting aside the obvious flaws of The Walking Dead, I've got to say that the contrast with Fear the Walking Dead is staggering. Just in the way TWD looks, the performances, etc. you feel like you are watching something substantial, in comparison FTWD looks like a reenactment of a bad telenovela uploaded to Youtube by

I assume it was Squash.

I'd be disappointed to learn that he *doesn't* skullfuck jack-o-lanterns.

Oh, I'm sure some enterprising folks were waiting outside the Halloween store early Sunday morning after they saw David Pumpkins trending on twitter.

It's 100 articles on horror. They can't all be winners.

He does have great podcast intro music.

Woo hoo! Today *is* the best day!

Someone might have said the same thing about Bill Cosby 2 years ago.

Was this episode *about* zombies? No, it was about people and post apocalyptic politics; the zombies were completely incidental. I feel like you're selling the show short while defending it.

I agree that there should be an endgame, ideally a planned out multi-season winddown, but it doesn't seem to be in the cards. They've already renewed for Season 8 (with no hint of wrapping things up).

Game of Thrones is about zombies and dragons - and people. There's no reason why a story about people fighting to survive in a post apocalyptic world that includes zombies can't be well written with compelling characters.

This was written by Gimple? Man, I had such high hopes when he took over the show.

True enough. It's not like he has to worry about his appearance to get laid.

Yeah, if it's little kids I get it. At that age it's pretty common to idealize other families - be they friends, neighbors or on TV - and fantasize about living with them. I guess my sick mind immediately went to 40 year old dudes writing in because they wanted to share a bunk with Jan or Bobby.

Okay, that doesn't even make sense. There the derangement isn't just mistaking them for real people because you obviously wouldn't ask to live with a random family you spotted eating at Applebees. But I guess I can't expect such people to be logical even within their own delusion.

Dude, you're the best.

TV Rick is different then Comic Rick. I definitely don't see how they make it plausible for TV Rick to spare Negan.

Does poor Chandler Riggs have to go around all year with that shitty haircut? I don't think he'd have enough time to grow it back in between seasons.

If she's 80 years old I'll bet she was one of the people demanding the rescue of Gilligan and calling the cops on the guy who played the One Armed Man on The Fugitive.

So Rick would have a bunch of Alexandria randoms at the table instead of Hershel, Tyreese, etc.?
