There actually are really expensive haunted houses that cater to individuals and small groups.
Also, I think we enjoy adding new characters to our holiday pantheons, so any reasonably fun character who is Halloween or Christmas themed has a built in advantage. He's been on the scene for less than 24 hours, but I'm willing bet that we'll be seeing David Pumpkins blazers every Halloween for a generation.
