What offends me is not that there aren't minorities in the show. That's Ms. Dunham's right as a self-centered douche. What offends me is that she claimed she didn't notice the lack of POC until she was editing the show. So the entire time she wrote and shot the series, she didn't notice? Bullshit.

I've tried to verbalize why this show sucks oh so much. Thank you for doing it for me, albeit in a much classier way. As much as I want this show to fail, it would only serve to make it that much harder to have a edgier female-driven comedy on cable.

He's sort of right on the money when it comes to a lot of the misogyny in rap lyrics. Maybe if Rush were to put his hate speech over some fat beats, there wouldn't be such an uproar.
