This. I think having 8 children by herself (and I think Jon wasn’t working initially when he moved out or tried to be a DJ or something) meant she had limited time and emotional resources to deal with a “problematic” child and immediately pawned him off on help. Which is why it’s generally not a great idea to have

I was against these types of shows from the beginning.

That’s exactly what defunding the police actually means.

The ‘prank’ was fine and in good humor...right up until he confronted her about her involvement and she lied to cover it up. That’s when it changed to being vindictive. So unless *HE* did something to deserve being harassed and tormented, that kind of behavior is absolutely not okay. Yes, there’s a fine line between

Coming this Christmas:
The Feet of Zorro
“Who knew Zorro was so comfortable with the n-word?”

What’s all this whataboutism with Jared Leto’s pranks? Sending dead rats to coworkers is obviously toxic but so is leading your coworker to the brink of insanity.

I mean, if you’re not going to use an actual Spaniard, Oscar Isaac is right there... but yeah, no to Tom Holland as Zorro; that’d go over as well as Johnny Depp as Tonto...

Tom Holland would be crucified for playing Zoro, he is of English origin.

Anything to avoid suggesting the movie sucks

Strange World came out???

Count me among those who saw virtually no advertising for Strange Worlds. I realize I am out of the demo (my children are too young and I am a casual fan at best of this kind of fare), but the fact that there was nothing was a little surprising.

Eternals was dull and even a comic fan like me struggled through it, even then I saw it like a year after release. Had zero interest in going to the cinema to see it.

i would imagine that part of the problem is that i have seen barely any ads for it, was unaware it was out until now, and have no idea what the movie’s plot even is.

I got plastered with ads for Disenchanted, which was on Disney+, but none for this theatre release. Odd

I can’t help but think Disney set this one up to fail, for one simple reason: the main character is openly gay. And yeah, Disney has a new “first gay character” every three months but it’s never been the protagonist before. Considering Chapek’s general contempt for animation and the way he utterly and completely shit

I don’t think people really knew this movie existed. If they did, there would have been a much bigger uproar from the bigots lol.

It almost seems like Disney had little faith in the film and didn’t want to spend additional advertising money on a movie they expected to land with a thud.

I thought Strange World was a Walt Disney Animation Studios project. Am I crazy.  Everything about this film was underplayed and undermarketed.

Strange World is also up against an accelerated move to streaming”

There seems to have been much less advertising for Strange World for some reason. Very few commercials and almost now trailers in the theaters that I can recall. We will probably see it later this week or this weekend.
