I actually saw that commercial on television the other day and was so completely and utterly confused about what the woman in it was supposed to be stressed about. I thought maybe they were coworkers or friends who had been mean to her and I just missed the beginning of the commercial. I was utterly baffled.

It could set a precedent that you need your parent’s permission to have any medical procedure preformed. Let’s be clear- they’re targeting both trans rights and women’s rights.

Having a child come out to you as transgender can set your world reeling. Ask me, I know. But I can’t imagine never wanting to support my child in being the best human being they can be. It was that way before I knew, it is that way now.
