My exec function is not atrocious, but it’s definitely unreliable. Honestly the thing that ultimately solved it for me is a marriage with someone who can handle it for me.
I am 100% certain that I have ADHD and am pursuing an actual diagnosis and some meds, but being undiagnosed and also having a type A personality have led me to many of these coping methods and skills, just in a roundabout manner.
I don’t have ADHD so I do not know if it would help, but trying to stay on top of tasks I do regularly works best for me if I assign them a day/date. I pay bills (or at least review them) every Saturday. I water the plants and sort of plan the weekend menu (when I do most of my cooking) on Fridays. Grocery shopping is…
Nice reading comprehension. What we don’t know is why its occurring, but we do know that for a fact it IS occurring due to the vaccine. So please start over and read it again.
I actually (voluntarily) participated in this study, and I am here to tell you it is 100% not in your head. When I had issues, I went to the internet to see if anyone else had such symptoms and found this study and was vastly relieved when all my tests came back as ok and that it was not just me.
Congratulations Republicans!
Careful. Alerting G/O writers to the existence of human beings outside of the NY tri-state area could be too much of a shock.
I might also suggest that you get the names and personal numbers and emails of people/supervisors you work closely with (and/or connect on LinkedIn), so that you will have references from people that actually worked with you or you worked directly for, as they may be out of a job as well. Most companies will only give…
There are none so blind as those who do not want to see.
No. Consider another choice, to be used at the time of your notice - offer to negotiate: “Give me a month to find new employment - you won’t increase your State Unemployment Insurance rate, you won’t have an angry ex-employee/enhance your reputation as a good employer and I’ll make my work duties transition a good one…
Is It Worth Wearing a Mask If You’re the Only One Doing It?
Nancy Reagan. It came out that she had a uhhhh colorful history
I’ve always made drop biscuit, as my Southrn mother and grandmother did, so I was actually confused for a moment at the mention of biscuit scraps. I’m not sure I’d call the method lazy. Informal, perhaps, as the shapes aren’t entirely uniform. Or efficient, as it saves having to dig out, flour, and wash a cutter and…
I use a pizza cutter to cut them into squarish shapes (depending on how patient I am), but I also bake them against each other. I don’t have the patience to dig out my round cutters, and I hate wasting dough.
Interesting. My incredulity here can probably be attributed to the fact I’ve never been any good at pinching regular bread rolls, which are a much firmer and more manageable dough to start with. I’ll concede that you command by birthright a mastery of the biscuit-making craft the likes of which I’ll never possess.
“Then, and this is important: Don’t worry that they will retract the offer simply because you advocate to earn what you’re worth. They have already dedicated resources to vetting and interviewing; they’re not going to pull the plug simply because you negotiate your salary.”
You mean pinched the way one would a roll? I can’t picture how this would work. Isn’t biscuit dough too wet for this? I’m familiar with drop biscuits as a lazy method that also yields less waste (assuming one is traditionally “wasting” the scrap), but I don’t think this is what you’re talking about either.
I have never heard of pinched biscuits but I love this idea
My southern Grandmother taught me how to make biscuits using her secret recipe (I had to swear to her not to teach it to anyone who wasn’t in the family) and she taught me to just pinch the dough to shape it (leaving none unused). While some of the shapes are odd, (my daughter affectionate begs for them by calling…
