This is actually kind of touching. Its like a family helping care for a member who is ill. Obviously, I may be projecting my emotions on the trees, but, it shows a support system that most humans don’t even have.

I still have to use a fax as that is the only way, outside of snail mail, to send certain legal documents to the state, courts, or some financial/insurance companies.  They simply will not accept it any other way.

Yes, same situation here, I have one of the larger, well known, employer sponsored insurers. I had a broken arm, no surgery even, and my out of pocket costs were well over $5,000. The same as you, I fear going to the doctor for anything major, and if they did find something, I would probably not have it treated, since…

I am no scientist and there probably isn’t a specific record of it, but I wonder if these infants spent time in an incubator, limiting their physical contact with their parents/and other stimuli that a newborn full matured would have in those first days/weeks after birth. which may have unknown and unexpected results…

I have since educated myself on what to do, hopefully to never have to use it.
