It’s more along the lines of I have so many games to play that I have to find a reason to play them given my time restraints. Avoiding games that rely heavily on communities that are in turn rather toxic just made sense because I don’t want to have to deal with it when I have other games to play without that factor.

I think the bigger issue is that nothing goes away anymore. By that I mean, if you say something as a developer it’s more likely than not that those words are going to be available for someone to see forever on the internet.
