Kruk especially is just such a gas bag. Mendoza knows her shit and sounds like she can string together a few sentences without mixing in the usual stereotypical things that announcers say.

This reminds me of pitchers who get pissed off at players for pimping a home run. You know how you stop that? Don’t let them hit a homerun (or in this case, intercept your passes) in the first place.
That FF1 screenshot looks gorgeous. I don’t understand how the lead of the project didn’t just point to their work on that and tell his team to replicate it. Surely, they would have had the process documentation available.
Why are people so okay with this as a form of DLC? It seems like a pretty huge form of microtransaction in a game that is otherwise priced like a full game.
Doesn’t it say something about end of 2015 for a full release? I don’t know the history so I’m not sure if it’s different than initially announced.
Hope he gets well soon. Terrible collision.
Hulu might be the only place to do it legally. It’s not going to be for everyone (as the comments here attest) and I didn’t think it was going to be for me but my wife and I started watching and couldn’t stop.
Trust me. I thought the same exact damn thing. I thought it was going to crash and burn. Then I actually watched it because it just kept gaining viewers. It’s certainly not for everyone and that’s perfectly fine. It’s just this mismatch of preposterousness, drama, melodrama, powerful personalities and weirdness that…
One of my best friends is a die hard warriors fan. He tells me about stories exactly like yours. The warriors were shitty but they were his shitty team. Then the We Believe Warriors show up. I went to college in Los Angeles but there were a lot of Bay Area transplants there. The hype level was unreal. I’m not a…
That’s basically what the community feels like. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve spent my fair share of time in FUT but it’s such a slog if you don’t want to put down any money on it.
Thanks for the response!
Sounds like you’ve spent a fair deal with both franchises over the years. Is it fair to say that it seems like career mode may never be a strength for either franchise? I play NBA2k and The Show and while the latter leaves a lot to be desired (I am on PS3 so maybe things are better on PS4), they both seem leagues…
The old big picture just worked for me, so I didn’t mind the interface or really think about it but this is cool.
Very refreshing to see black men with the ability to reach a large audience comment on a topic that’s so divisive in a real way.
I think what Sherman said has some merit. I’m brown and grew up in a minority neighborhood in the Bronx but I didn’t experience violence around me all of the time. With that said, black…
I deal with those sorts of people all of the time. People who come from different marketing backgrounds and don’t understand that selling video games is different just like marketing CPG or jewelry or fashion is unique. Often, they just feel like doing some big stunt or one off thing should be enough and we have to be…
I work in advertising. Over the years, I have worked on some capacity with many of the major publishers and my current agency easily has like 90% gaming clients. I have to work hard sometimes but I never feel like I’m working because my input is respected, I can be creative and I work with fucking video games for…
How long until someone pipes up to say that real fans don’t care about the name and it’s just a concocted story by the media?
Fight Night Champion was the shit. The story could be meh but the actual fighting was top notch.
It was ESPECIALLY bad when it was the damn main character who sounded like he just hit a fat blunt and couldn’t give a fuck about significant moments in his career. The mode is pretty good but god damn did the main voice actor suck.
Fight Night Champion is glorious and a game my friend and I still play to this day. It’s almost perfectly balanced at the welterweight and heavyweight classes and the story mode wasn’t half bad.
If EA were to announce a new one and it didn’t come to PC, I would strongly consider my stance on the PS4 (not simply for…
What’s your point? People enjoy that sort of stuff. Good for them. I don’t watch very much of those videos but they do help when I want to find out if a game is any good from a less biased source.
