How does the AWD version feel? Is it competitive with the GLE/Q7/X5?
Will it be the last FWD-based Cadillac vehicle?
What’s the interior comfort like? I finally saw it in person, and standing 6'4", the downsizing concerns me.
The 7 Series, XJ, and LS might tremble, but I think the CLS Class, A7, and 6 Series Gran Coupe should be worried. Especially the A7. God help them when the TTV8 drops. It could even become an accidental Panamera competitor with those weight figures.
So much truth when you brought up the kind of area you’re in. Here in central Ohio swap you can swap the Quattroporte for the Porsche Panamera or Cayenne. Both say “I’m this city’s managing director for a wealth management firm.”
They should’ve made that GNK AWD unit standard across Lincoln until the new modular platform comes out.
The current Taurus has a midsize interior with a fullsize footprint. THAT’s why it isn’t performing well.
This is what the Continental should be based on.
This is so true it makes me want to cry tears of anger and frustration
Glad I’m not the only one speaking on behalf of the tall Americans. Is it wrong to want a sports car that’s actually comfortable?
It’s also what critics mean when they say the Continental should’ve had a RWD setup. RWD/AWD doesn’t always put performance over luxury. This is American luxury done right.
Don’t be sad. I want them both to succeed. I wish the rivalry between them wasn’t so one-sided. Lincoln is more of a Buick competitor than Cadillac and it shouldn’t be that way.
I’m wishing on a return of the Fleetwood and Brougham names. Fleetwood to compete with Alpina and Brabus, Brougham to compete with Maybach and Maserati, and low-end Bentley.
Call me crazy, but I consider the CT6 to be the spiritual successor to the SeVille/STS
What you did there. I see it.
Even Cadillac Touring Six spelled out invokes a more luxurious image.
Wow. Please reconsider, Cadillac. A CT6-V could’ve been an RS7 beater.
They can pick up old Lexus buyers who appreciated times when they were staid and conservative.
If Sergio doesn’t keep blowing that cash to make Alfa Romeo happen.
