Nothing running a full or semi-full OS should be considered competition to the iPad. In my opinion they fill two separate niches and consumer groups.

@Fuji-kun: Have you seen what modifying the turbo fire rate can do for a player when using the spike guns in Halo3? You can make it so that they are more accurate when holding the fire button, its nuts. Total cheating IMO.

Like any competition, everyone should start on even ground. Bone stock Xbox 360 controllers should be the only thing used.
