Our game group got burned out playing Settlers of Catan after the last game lasted over 3 hours, everyone had 9 points before someone won and the soldier cards were running rampant.

Same here. Plays most of my 2600 games. Just a handful don't (Like my Starpath Supercharger) but I still have my heavy sixer for those as well.

Atari 7800 was backwards compatible with 2600 games directly (no extra hardware) right out of the box.

Agreed, I have an A/B/C switchbox and three of those phono-to-coax adaptors for my Atari 2600, 7800 and Colecovison. Set-up a LOT shorter than systems nowadays. Plug it in and play.

The double-blades I get already have a disposal on the underside to put your used blades.

We discovered the key to really good BEP is to use fresh peas. Not canned, not dried. Last year I got fresh because all other types were sold out everywhere and for the first time my family actually enjoyed them, instead of eating them out because of Southern tradition.
