The wording of this sentence confused me, so I did some googling. For background, I’m from Louisville, and I read that and said “But UofL Hospital has been open forever...?” It looks like the hospital is currently being managed by a local hospital network (KentuckyOne Health), but that contract is set to expire this

I think as a fellow Bruins fan (I assume based on past comments), you and I can agree that the very second he was traded from the Habs, we breathed a sigh of relief and said “Thank God, now I can openly like PK”

Folks,,,

I was at the Nationals game against the Cardinals last Monday, and when the Presidents came running out of the center field wall for the race, I could not stop laughing. I don’t know why, but the whole thing was just hilarious to me. Then when I saw this yesterday, I damn near peed my pants.

The one time I went to Philly for work, I was about to go to Pat’s or Geno’s, but Googled it at the last second and every person actually from there said FUCK NO. I ended up at Sonny’s Famous Steaks instead, and I did not regret that decision at all.

Are you actually St. Louis City? Or are you County?
Or, given your username, are you East Side?
If it’s the second or the third thing, shut the hell up.

I grew up in Louisville going to Skyline at least once a week with my family (so it goes without saying that I love it unconditionally). It wasn’t until after college that one of my best friends, a Cincy native, introduced me to Gold Star. I like it a lot, and if there is no Skyline nearby, I’ll gladly eat it. But

I haven’t read it yet, but my v. unpopular opinion is that I like Jim Nantz a lot. His voice always reminds me of spring (the NCAA Tournament followed by the Masters), and that winter is almost over.

I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for the ‘Yotes (no idea why, but after the Bruins games end, I usually switch over to the Coyotes for a nightcap), but as Barry mentioned, it’s been impossible to follow all the twists and turns. That being said, does anyone have a good explainer about how they got here? I’m

As unpopular as this is to say if you’re a Cards fan, I actually really like Coach Cal. He uses the one-and-done rule to his advantage, puts on no airs about the mystique and pride of big time college basketball, and gets his kids drafted. Plus, he understands that his role is more than just a basketball coach; if

You may be the best UK fan

As a Louisville native and fan (but not an alum), you would deserve it. But as a Kimmy Schmidt fan, your avi and username are great

It’s funny you say that about the whole “where did you go to high school” question, because I live in St. Louis now, and that is HUGE here, but because it’s about 3 times the size of Louisville, it is much more about stereotyping than anything else. Back home, I felt like it was more about “do I have a

Game 162 was one of the biggest gut punches of my life. Pap blows it, they cut to TC in the studio, and he gets this look on his face like someone just told him his grandma died as he says “This just in, Evan Longoria has hit a walk off home run for the Rays”

Right, that always blew my mind. I’m actually from St. Matthew’s (ish... google maps informs me it’s called Brownsboro Zorn), so my options were Waggener or Male (I was at a TMS).

I’d like to think that parents in the east end whose kids go to those magnet or traditional programs wouldn’t be so keen on having to put their kids into Waggener or Eastern* suddenly, and will put a lot of pressure on their reps. (When I was in grade school/high school these were not very good schools, but maybe it’s

YPAS, I assume? There and Manual are the two best in the district, imo. I wish you the best and I hope it works out. I hate what Bevin and his ilk are doing to my home state.
