I think there's an argument that this show should very well be considered "a big enough show." This book series has sold 20 million copies (pre-show), and ASOIAF has sold somewhere a little north of 24m. Given that we're only 6 episodes in, I'd be willing to give this show room to grow in terms of viewership.
