That’s how grand juries work. One of the detectives on the case stated int the CBS special that the DA said his decision was political.

But the parents were indicted by a grand jury and then the DA chose not to press charges. How do you explain that?

I think the goal was just to get a real, thorough investigation into the public eye. The original investigation was BS and the DA basically let the Ramsey’s get away with covering up a murder just because they had money.
