I was about to say, I know people who have had both and I thought NHL was the “bad” one. But hopefully treatment has improved, this was years ago.

I didn’t watch what turned out to be one of my favourite TV shows ever for most of the first season because I was like how good could a network be that called itself fucking Starz? 

I think it depends where you live. Here in Australia, most states have had a compulsory children’s swimming program for decades and it’s done as part of the school curriculum. 

Joel actually looks 20 years younger in the prologue, that’s what’s I’ve been most impressed by apart from the graphics generally. I can’t lie, I’ll probably eventually succumb and buy this, but not at release price.

Does the show romanticise/glorify toxic masculinity in the kitchen (and restaurant industry generally) or does it deconstruct/subvert it? That’s my main question about the show, as a woman who got pretty burned out pretty fast from early years in hospo.
