What’s the text size like or is there a size option in settings? 

I never watched it as I have a limit on how much “terrible white people” media I can take, but realised recently that this is probably why people suddenly seem to have learned how to spell and say “Siobhan”, which is nice. 

The one thing I’ll say for Succession is at least people know how to spell and pronounce “Siobhan” now. 

I volunteer with an animal rescue/adoption org and they made the right call here by using the donated funds slightly differently than intended.

She’s been putting up with this nonsense ever since “Heavenly Creatures”. People couldn’t believe that someone who didn’t already look like a typical starlet (like costar Kate Winslet) was a real actress with real talent. They acted like Peter Jackson just found a legit teenage sociopath in some little New Zealand…

The extras are the big thing for me. Until streaming figures out how to include them I’ll never totally give up discs. Seriously, commentaries are just another audio track, why can’t they be added to streams for people who’ll pay?

The biggest surprise of TLOU discourse for me has been how many people took Joel’s Atkins diet line at face value… 

One of the reasons it worked for me was that if it went Tess then Bill and Frank and then two more upcoming characters all being portrayed as per the game, that’s too much repetition of “person gets infected, self-termination and/or termination/suicide ensues” for an episodic TV show.

When a child actor is bad in a movie they’re the least culpable person involved responsible for it, IMHO. Before them comes everybody who gave the go ahead for casting that child and especially the director for not being able to, well, direct a better performance out of them.

Glad to hear that about De Niro. He’s the attacker in one of the most upsetting rape scenes I’ve ever seen (“Once Upon A Time In America”) and it could have been a heinous experience for costar Elizabeth McGovern if she was having to do it with an actor who wasn’t considerate and respectful.
