Joel actually looks 20 years younger in the prologue, that’s what’s I’ve been most impressed by apart from the graphics generally. I can’t lie, I’ll probably eventually succumb and buy this, but not at release price.

This post made me realise I am not ok with looking at skinless link sausages.

In my lower income Australian childhood home we went one better (lower!) and called it spag *bog*. 🙂

Real talk: I know explaining how food exists in the world might be tricky but as the game went on I couldn’t stop hoping the cat would get something to eat.

Adam Hills is one of our national treasures. /An Australian

Does the show romanticise/glorify toxic masculinity in the kitchen (and restaurant industry generally) or does it deconstruct/subvert it? That’s my main question about the show, as a woman who got pretty burned out pretty fast from early years in hospo.

Back in the early 2000s Gwen Stefani was one of the few who was refreshingly honest about this in an interview: she pretty much straight up said that she worked out like a demon and was hungry most of the time.

When relevant one of the first things I do in a game is see if there’s head bob and can I turn it the fuck off. That’s one of the biggest triggers for me.

OMG. I just looked it up. You’re not wrong. XD

This seems like a good place to ask. As someone who likes RPGs and games with a strong story focus but who has never played a single FF game or any JRPG except Persona 5, will the FF VII remake be okay and accessible, and a good “example” of the franchise overall? Several years ago there was a web series modern adaptation called The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. The Darcy, Bingley and Wickham characters were still romantic partners but Collins was a prospective employee offering Lizzie a secure job at his company that she was morally diffident about. She was shocked when she learned

To stretch a spaghetti meal over two nights, when I was a kid we had it in sandwiches the next night. Sometimes warmed and in toasted bread, sometimes cold in fresh bread. I know it’s because we were kind of poor but it’s still a nostalgic comfort food I eat occasionally.

That’s weird, locked doors didn’t seem to be too much of a problem when police murdered Amir Locke and Breonna Taylor…

Just googled and holy shit Warwick Davis only was 18 when Willow came out!!

Right??? Who the fuck is ungreying these? I don’t dare ungrey ANYTHING anymore without checking the account and previous comments to make sure they’re legit and not just a troll/tomato/etc.

Too-small text for gamers who play in a living room setting with a couch and a TV screen has been such a recurring issue for a surprising number of AAA releases that it’s becoming downright weird that it’s not addressed better. Surely they’ve figured out by now that not all consumers play in scenarios that replicate
