Billy Bob Thorton confirmed years ago that, despite being married multiple times, he never got married for the sex. It’s not hard to come by when you’re a well-known film actor. “Just call one of your regulars,” he said. “It’s no big deal.” Dunno if he meant fuck buddies or sex workers, but I’d believe either one.

I mean, it probably is difficult to abstain for six months when you’re a famous actor and beautiful actresses and models are constantly offering you sex.

I was actually okay with the Beautiful Mind stuff, since portraying him as having a bunch of affairs would just perpetuate harmful stereotypes.

The movie does, if briefly, touch on the Dahomey involvement in the slave trade. They were far from the only tribe doing it. It was a very efficient way to take enemy armies off the battlefield - sell all surviving POWs into slavery. They could have just killed them all, as some did, but releasing them freely to fight

Commentary about it is fine, it’s to be expected, but good lord, this gnashing of teeth over it seems like it’s about something else. I personally have no interest in the movie, whether it’s historically accurate or not. But man, the net nerds have lost their minds over this, and I don’t think it has that much to do

disconcerting

About the same. Just as Styles is known not to eat chicken, it’s well known that Jones doesn’t wear underwear.

It would probably hurt the NWSL

I would notice, because I wouldn’t be able to watch Lower Decks.

Who was that, Confucius?

Generally I want to like things with Judy Greer in them, but this looks dodgy.

It’s the throw money at everything approach that will also insure that this will be yet another one and done netflix show. Throw money desperately at something else.

It’s a kind of hilarious image, because in another context, a woman’s legs in the air like that would be sexy, but in the middle of a random row of seats it looks like she crashed there after being launched out of a cannon or something.

I’d also recommend the Bill Hader, Mark Frost, Rachel Bloom and Russell T. Davies episodes, all of which were a great insight in to the movies they love.

Okay, that’s fair. Assuming that they didn’t edit the article afterwards, it’s possible that I got confused by the website design that splits the article into 4 parts and just missed the beginning of the article. It would make more sense to write “also previously played” but still, that’s my bad.

It’s excellent. His latest episode had Zach Braff on, and it was a great conversation. Brett is hilarious and just delightful.

I’m pretty sure it’s digital aging as opposed to makeup. Commented on another episode—the weird vertical lines on her forehead in closeup were downright distracting.

I’m still going to have a hard time seeing anything but Roy Kent, but I mean, I love Brett Goldstein. Plus: I’ve begun to appreciate how good a job he’s done with Roy even more, since I started listening to his podcast Films to be Buried With. He's such a sweet, happy-sounding guy and just comes across as being

This made me wheeze-laugh.

Would you say they have a plethora of amigos?
