In the case of Amiibos, it’s just cognitive dissonance. People will make a bunch of dumb excuses because it’s Nintendo.

Isn’t it about time we let the last gen die? Over two years into the new generation and companies are still putting out crippled versions of games on the decade old tech.
...A ten dollar price drop...
Maybe they feel like puking after driving it?
Not a failure at all in my opinion. It surely did underperform for sure and people didn’t seem to really *need* the thing, but it was a real technical wonder. I do think they should have allowed all Vita titles be compatible though. But for PSOne, PSP and PS4 play, it does a great job.
Disney Infinity was cool when it was just regular Disney stuff.
Where’s my Captain Marvel figure, Disney? You already have her in game. Make the next step!
This guy totally vapes.
because they’re useful in so many situations. ^_^
You kinda sound like a douche.
yeah, they’re part of the new canon.
They appear to be vacuum cleaner attachments.
Is he wearing a necklace made of lightsabers?
lol this angle and those ripped arms make him look like a battle toad.
Yeah, but all the major titles like Type-0 and the new Dissidia are completely skipping the system, and now all the exclusives for that system are jumping ship. All the Vita has now are downscaled ports of games which just aren’t as good as the rest of them and niche titles.
If by dozens of new games, you mean ‘Visual novals and erotic stuff’ you would be correct. First and third party developers have long left the Vita behind and moved on to the 3DS, which sells like mad and doesn’t requre overpriced memory cards.
Three of Nintendo’s six home consoles have been abject failures (and even the Wii was an incredibly hollow victory), the 3DS launch and subsequent first year was disastrous, and the less said about Virtual Boy, the better.
My sincerest apologies to the artist, but this only reminds me of Baron Ünderbheit from Venture Bros.
