I though it was funny - all the supporting characters were so perfect, not sure how they accomplished that, but after last week it feels anti-climatic. I find Ilana really annoying at this point and I think part of the audience is supposed to be a bit exasperated but it gets less and less fun to watch her be obnoxious

She was not a mixed race baby.

It did seem out of character but Ilana and Abbi have such an intense relationship that before knowing that there was more to it than Abbi's betrayal, she did the classic cheater guilt move of "he/she doesn't mean anything to me." She obviously doesn't feel that way but she hated seeing Ilana break down like that and

Poor Elliot, they won't let him live

I've never felt strongly either way about Trey (unlike Bevers) I always read his interactions with Abbi as kind of clueless and self-absorbed but not maliciously mean or an attempt to humiliate her. The corsage thing was so damn sweet and considerate and he remembers the things she said and I was destroyed by that

It's so annoying when characters are in the dark but this makes no sense and makes it difficult to understand/reconcile why he left in the first place.

I was hoping they would make a callback to season one like a 'negress where is your caretaker?' line so Abbie could give some epic side-eye.

They aren't friends though they are fuck buddies and it would be dishonest for them to pretend that they could go from consistent intimacy over 3 years to being platonic without any issues. They would likely end up being inappropriate with one another and I think its really good that Lincoln recognizes it (and even if

Did we ever get back story on the fiance? I remember thinking the ex fiance was hot. I was pulling for John Cho but he was a Moloch minion/ kinda dead pretty much immediately.

I momentarily freaked out that they were going to do something anachronistic with the disc, shame on me for not having faith.

I love how this show manages to be eye roll worthy with the many ways in which American History has hidden meanings and ulterior motives but it is really enjoyable when they get back to basics with the Revolutionary mythology. It doesn't really work but it does work better than whatever they have going on currently. I
