I’m sorry, but this is asinine. What city or scenario would it benefit a traveler to leave the terminal and return for a flight? I can’t think of a situation, layover or delay where the prospect of the extra 20 or 30 minutes of security would be the prohibiting factor in making this decision.

I find it highly unlikely 300M more from Spanos would have moved the needle significantly enough for approval. The vote wasn’t even close –they needed 66% and received about 40. That’s about 130,000 people voting differently.

FYI, the league voted that half of the 650M can be repaid over 30 years.

There is approximately 9 hours of flight time from London to Indy gaining 5 hours on the way back. Why is this is such an immense obstacle for a professional football team to overcome? In fact, the team is likely home earlier than a west > east night game.
