Yes, Democrats regained 300 seats, but what reason is there to believe that they’ll both hold onto them and gain more if they continue the same policies of the Obama administration?

Maybe so the Democratic Party wouldn’t have lost over 900 seats? You have to keep your base coalition engaged. Far too many people assumed that once Obama was president that everything would just be okay, when clearly things got worse and voter apathy brought us to President Trump.
