3. Hey that’s a really good picture of Kaitin Olson!

Did he gain one? The books have always had just one.
For better and worse, Tarantino comes off like he’s still that geeky kid working at the video store who is obsessed with movies and watches everything that comes out. It’s at its most charming when he’s out there hiring his heroes long after everyone else has written them off.
A related story I heard was that Pam Grier went to meet Tarantino in his office (presumably Jackie Brown) and it was full of posters of her films. She said something like "Did you put those up because I was coming?" and he said something like "I was going to take them down because you were coming."
I literally teared up reading the Tarantino story earlier today. The joy Forster must have felt when Tarantino said, “I hire anybody I want” would be hard to overstate. People shit on Tarantino but this is the kind of thing that good people do.
The problem with the character “Blogger Who’s Nowhere Near As Clever As He Thinks He Is, And Would Really Just Be Better Off Covering Entertainment News In A More Straightforward Fashion” is that half of the writers for AV Club take turns playing the character, so it’s kind of become more of confusing performance…
To be fair, Hughes wanted to take this occasion to showcase a character of his we’ve sadly been acquainted with for the past few years, “Blogger Who’s Nowhere Near As Clever As He Thinks He Is, And Would Really Just Be Better Off Covering Entertainment News In A More Straightforward Fashion”.
Uh, that wasn’t Seth Simons that Che went after. That was another guy with a similar sounding first name. Close, though.
Ellen and W. can be friends, that’s fine by me. But a Cowboys game? That’s a bridge too far.
America is still very much in denial over Vietnam, they will never admit to what happened in Iraq.
It must be so tough being beautiful, rich and successful. So brave of them to take a stand against this horrible injustice. #neverforget
Lol dude, who even cares about people being insufficiently polite to Obama. He and Bush are both war criminals. I would tell both that to their faces if I could. Fuck this civility shit. Genuinely mad people deserve scorn, simple.
Just wanted to stop in and say thanks for inspiring all the hilarious clapbacks to this ridiculous comment. Were it possible to fax you over a light beer, I would.
Geez, I know Ellen falls into the AVClub’s realm, but feeding the outrage frenzy like this really should go over on Splinter.
That’s only an insult to fucking idiots like you. Imagine thinking that being reasonable and civil as opposed to promoting divisive hatred is a negative attribute.
250000+ civilians dead because of his daddy issues and the guy gets an art installation in DC where he’s displaying paintings he did of soldiers who fought in the illegal war he started, wtf?
You’re right. Edited.
Honestly, I get why the country elected Trump. I mean, I think it’s vile on every level, but I at least understand the twisted reasoning behind it. But I will never understand why so many people are so anxious to rehabilitate this guy who presided over 8 years of dread and misery. How do you forget how repulsive it…
“Woo!” ~ Darth Vader, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
It was built on the decaying wreck of the pod-racing industry.
