I own an S4, 2015 MX5 Miata, and just picked up a 2011 GT500. The plan with the wife is/was to sell the Miata ( I mean owning 3 cars? Cmon)...But, I love that Miata. Owned it for 4 years now and have it set up perfectly. I’m actually thinking of keeping it. Am I crazy? Do I need help? That Miata fits me like a glove.

I’m with you. As an S4 owner and someone who came very close to buying an E92 M3, Ijust couldn’t wrap my head around spending $30-40K on a 10 year old car then drop $3K in rod bearings and coil packs. Sure the S4 won’t win a head-to-head with the M3, but do an APR stage 1 tune and you’re looking at low 4.2 sec or so

I owned a 2006 RX-8. It was a great car. Fun, good looking but when 60K miles hit, boom, all heck broke loose, (seals, coils etc). I think low mileage examples will appreciate a bit due to their nostalgia down the road, but good luck trying to find one. Everyone I see on AT or Cars.com seems to have over 100K miles.

I’m pretty sure the NB was the worst Miata as it was basically the NA without the flip head lights. History will prove that the NC, the first all new platform since 1989 will be revered. Again the ONLY Miata with a PRHT in 27 years now, and I love the RF, but it doesn’t give you the fully-open air experience.

They didn’t prove anything other than the fact that after extensive back to back to back to back driving, they both preferred the NC. The RX8 is starting to get traction as a modern classic and the NC was a smaller version of that platform and syle. Throw in the fact that it’s the only generation you can get a full

Great review, great car. I own a 2015 S4. Picked it up with 6K miles for $42K in 6 months after it was built. For 70K, that’s too steep. For less than $50K? These cars ARE steal. This car has way more HP than advertised. This car does a 4.5 sec 0-60! I’ve driven many cars, and my S4 is tight, fast, and very well

Bingo.

Drive a Miata and you’ll discover the meaning of life.

If you had 25K give or take to spend on a car that may begin appreciate, at the very least hold it’s value, what would be?

Love me some Flex...such a cool, unique wagon.

This is what I do know: My 2015 Audi S4 that I picked up for 14K off MSRP with 5K miles looks even better now given it’s body is not outdated. Thanks Audi!!!

Love this car. I own a 2015 Club PRHT and I thought that was the bees knees until I saw this. My wife loves the RF too. That means I might have a green light for one. My only worry is can these Skyactiv engines be modified? 155 hp is not enough. I know, it’s quick, I’ve driven one, but an additional 25 hp would be
