That’s an obvious lie. He gave positive reviews to multiple slashers. He gave Halloween 4/4 stars. Most slashers are garbage, and giving bad reviews to garbage movies is not “moral panic.”

Eh, that or someone legit tried to malign him and he’s pissed about it.

Dumb people like you only have the ability to think in these terms.

It’s AVClub; everything is bizarre to them if it doesn’t fit their very narrow wheelhouse.

I think it’s surprising that Eccleston said this, mostly because he probably bought himself a bunch of trouble. But I don’t think it’s fair to say that “whole confession was bizarrely inspired by Eccleston praising intimacy coordinators.”

“love interest to Jodie Foster’s Detective Liz Danvers in True Detective Night Country”

Before people start some guessing game, a reminder that if Eccleston had wanted to name the co-star, he would have named the co-star.

Off course it does...every story needs a racist angle

No technology was perfect in the infant stages, so sounds like more AI fear-mongering. lol

Is it not plausible that there could be technical challenges in identifying those two categories of people? A dark-skinned person in low light would seem to present a pretty obvious challenge vs. a subject that is presenting more contrast against the background. I realize training data introduces all sorts of bias,

The article calls it mustard gas because the “author” Kyle Barr” is really an AI writing about another AI, and taking real jobs away from incompetent Giz writers.

Considering the author of the tweet correctly identified Aromatic Water Mix as a recipe for chlorine gas, seems odd/lazy? to refer to it as “mustard gas” in both the hed and lede.

I never claimed to be an expert. But all the actual experts agree with what I am saying. There are hundreds of recent studies that show that being overweight is unhealthy regardless of other factors. I’ve already posted information about scientific studies that show that.

Please don’t try to pretend that more people die from anorexia than from being overweight. Happy we are putting our foot down on fat shaming, but dont be silly.

Huh, when did she become a doctor?  Because I’m pretty sure racial bias in a lot of our standards doesn’t really make up the 30-40% gap between a healthy 5'10" woman’s weight and Lizzo’s.  There’s still (all in the last 5 years or less) mountains of research that show correlation between obesity and statistically

whataboutism is not the way to go about such matters. Morbid obesity being celebrated in public eye is equal to public libraries banning books

Nope. Not that it matters whether or not I do. That’s kind of a dumb question that doesn’t really serve a purpose.

She 100% is. That’s a major part of her brand.

I feel the same way about those. My beliefs about things are pretty consistent, so that’s not as much of a gotcha as you might think it is.

I’m suspicious of anyone that pushes the health at any size movement for profit, which is what she does.
