All movies need more Kurt Braunohler, whom I think you are talking about.

The climax of the film (for me, at least) was that scene—Kumail’s parents confronting him and Kumail finally speaking his mind. As someone who immigrated to the US from India at an early age, I’ve received that spiel from my own parents countless times. Yet, I’ve never had the courage to respond the way Kumail does in

Finally, collective bargaining rights can do what they were made for: bringing back Disqus (or the systems before it).

In the editing room...

I personally would love a movie about the Council of Nicea, but I’m not holding my breath. (Also we know they would keep in the moment where Nicholas (Santa Claus) punches Arius, even though that never happened.)

Always struck me as a dude’s dude who is never not five bad seconds away from tearing your face off.

They should postpone this movie until it’s been, say, six months since the last U.S. gun massacre, thus assuring that it would never, ever be released.

Since Michael B. Jordan loves One Punch Man, I wish him the best.

Yeah, he’s a bit reclusive, but totally worth spending some time with him once you track him down.

If the premiere buzz from Black Panther and Fandango tracking is to be believed, this should be a Marvel film worth getting stoked about on top of being a great win for representation in blockbuster films.

Annihilation will be interesting though that could go both ways. I’ll see it to at least be able to join in

Where is Clit Eastwood? Can anyone even find him?

At least No More Heroes makes a stab at being subversive. The lion’s share of modern anime is some combination of too lazy or too afraid of angering it’s increasingly niche fanbase to even do that.

And in the other corner, Wawa coffee kicks the crap out of any and all of these. Dollar for a 24 oz pour-your-own cup of coffee (Wawa hazelnut cut with mocha wake-up blend topped off with a touch of non-dairy creamer, and no sweetner) is heaven in a cup, and an absolute godsend. Lasts me all day, and the flavor is
