To be fair, the one person who mattered—the talent scout who gave Mia the audition and her first big break—wasn't bothered by this.

Well played meta joke.

How about they get one movie right, and then we'll see about another.

My candidates:
The Shop Around The Corner (1940, Lubitsch)
West Side Story (1961, Robbins, Wise)
A Man And A Woman (1966, Lelouch)
What's Up Doc? (1972, Bogdanovich)
Maurice (1987, Ivory)
say anything… (1989, Crowe)
It Could Happen To You (1994, Andrew Bergman)
The Bridges Of Madison County (1995, Eastwood) [minus the awful

Well, technically, we do have a lot of killers. So far this year (in the last 36 days) in the United States, there have been 1,488 deaths attributable to guns. In 2016, there were 15,055. In 2015, there were 13,485. In 2014, there were 12,554. [source]

Top 10 (so far)

If I were to pick one guest/supporting actor from The Americans, it wouldn't be Dylan Baker. He does reliably good work, but nothing close to the revelatory work done by Alison Wright as Martha and Ruthie Ann Miles as Young-Hee. Both brought the human toll of the Jennings' actions into emotionally devastating focus.

Fuck.

It's evident in the Expanded Universe, both in what is now called "Legends" and the New Canon. A point where those intersect is Admiral Thrawn. He's one of the only high ranking Imperial officers who is non-Human (a Chiss), and he's only there because he's a tactical genius and useful to the Emperor.

If anything, this election proved to me and my husband that "flyover" is now literally what we will be doing to most of the country. Major city to major city. We don't feel safe driving through the middle of these states on our annual Christmas road trip or on any future road trips. Basically, road trips are dead. RIP

Here's the story I've heard about Gina Gershon's performance in Showgirls.

"Different places!"

I only remember it vaguely from seeing it when it came out, but I seem to recall there was a scene where Elisabeth Shue and…someone else lock themselves in a freezer to escape Invisible Kevin Bacon. She cries and it freezes as it's falling down her face. A single frozen tear. That did at least provide one truly laugh

UPDATE: Vince Neil has been "uninvited" according to Vince Neil.

Nothing says "secure in my masculinity and place in society" like being completely scared of women, people of color, and LGBT people having a place in society. This "cuck" business is definitely projection.

Who knew 2016 would end up being the big comeback year for the nocturnal emission?

(I should preface this by saying that my friends list on Facebook consists only of people I know and like in real life. So, no rando from high school, co-workers, or distant relatives are included. I have 61 total Facebook friends.)
