I don't see the show as boring. Maybe this is a good question: Do you think Mad Men is boring? (This is a non-judgmental question about aesthetics that might help me understand where you're coming from a little better.)

Heterosexual characters on HBO and Showtime regularly engage in infidelity and recreational drug use. I think that's just a human thing.

But Queer As Folk was FABULOUS!

I blame the gays who called it "boring." I guess they wanted another FABULOUS! show like the American version of Queer As Folk (which I never want to see again), or something exciting and soapy on the level of Scandal. They just didn't want to see anything realistic or complicated.

I think the CEO of Tits is pushing for Looking's cancellation. His notes read: "Not enough tits."

I heard the similarities between "Blurred Lines" and "Got To Give It Up" the first time I heard "Blurred Lines" in a crowded restaurant. I believe my exact words were "What is this fuckawful racket ripping off 'Got To Give It Up'?"

Gayes Victorious!

The first time I heard it was on the overhead speakers of a fast food restaurant playing one of the local radio stations. Over the muddled sound system, it sounded to me like someone had sampled "Got To Give It Up" and "Whoomp! (There It Is)."

Because…

Birdman!

Very happy to see mentions for "No Fate Awaits Me" from The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby, the sound mixing and score of Under The Skin, and the sound editing of The Strange Color Of Your Body's Tears.

Because singing and dancing is gay.

First single (which was a Cassingle™): Pixies - "Here Comes Your Man"
First 7": Yazz & The Plastic Population - "The Only Way Is Up"
First full length cassette: The Sugarcubes - Life's Too Good
First full length CD [bought at the same time]: The Cure - Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me; Siouxsie & The Banshees - Peepshow

Does anyone still wear a hat?

It's so dense. Every single image has so many things going on.

This exchange is the second most delightfully geeky Star Wars-related thing I've seen online in the last week. After the in-depth speculation about the droid in The Force Awakens trailer, of course.

The final moments of Ezra looking at the picture of his parents Sabine got from the holo was beautiful and so well done with the music and mise en scène.

Even though I LOVED this episode and loved that moment, I did kinda get a Dark Side Pokemon feeling from that visual.

Wild speculation: Ezra's father is a clone deserter. Or possibly Captain Rex.

I think Fulcrum is Ahsoka. Visual clues here and audio clues here.
