Most of the factory is going to be your service provider.

CON: (its a big one) Requires Apple devices to setup and configure

Yes because a 64 bit processor, better GPU, better camera sensor, finger print sensor, and dual flash can all be accomplished with a software update.

So, here's our first hands on (shot using Windows Mobile 8):

You just plug in your new USB cable.

So this is what is happening, you can have an Android powered system but use Apple APIs to interface with Siri. The Siri integration is just a bluetooth protocol that is implemented to the car system.

While I agree Android would have been a better decision, QNX is NOT BlackBerry. BB simply owns the license to QNX which pretty much operates as a separate company.

Just so you know, QNX was a company BB acquired. It is not actually the same OS that you see on BB phones.

Apple designs their own batteries, they fabricated the CPU in iOS devices, they designed the screen, and many other hardware components. They outsource manufacturing and assembly, but a lot R&D and development happens in house. Even the Intel processors in Macs are custom made for Apple.

They are using an Apple Enterprise certificate. It was ment for companies to distribute apps internally. This is a clear violation of that rule and Apple can, and probably will, disable the certificate. That will disable the app from working anymore. Certificates expire after 1 year anyway.

Facebook is paying $4 billion in cash with the remaining $12 billion in stock.

I would say my equipment is 2nd generation. It is still about 5 years old.

Why not just have the Ethernet come directly out of the ONT?

Mine started beeping about 5 years after getting it. I called them up, complained (they said I have to buy one) and they sent someone out 2 days later to replace it for me, for free.

It is a little different. There are actually 2 different interfaces. The one in my screenshot is from iOS 7.1 beta. The one in the video above (link) is from iOS 7.0.3 and resembles the UI they showed off at WWDC as well as on their website.

This is actually a working prototype that is part of the iOS 7.1 beta SDK that all Apple Developers (like myself) have access to.

That is not what it means, it means that most people chose the cheapest device they can get. Including these very cheap Android phones that cost $50 off-contract.

Honestly, I don't see why she should pay for it. You say it is the "landlords yard", but do you use it? If you use the yard and have access to it, then it is your yard and you should pay to maintain it. I think it would be unfair for her to pay for something that you use.

I think that was introduced in iOS 4

Do you rent the entire house?
