I am not talking about super fast WiFi but 3G/HSPA+ (pulling in HSPA+ at about 12Mbps on AT&T)

I got it running on Bootcamp now, works great! (Except that I am not loving Metro that much)

I used to be able to dismiss notifications by swiping to the left when my phone was jailbroken

iOS also uses MMS. But Android screws up group messages. This is Androids fault since iOS, WP, and BB all work good.

I think people will be pissed when their current iPhone which is still being sold will not get the upgrade.

Apple can't force them to do it, if they do then there would be a backlash from 90% of the readers on this site. It is up to the developers to do that.

have a lot of built-in features that jailbreak users already have

That usually happens when you have a slow connection. I always have a fast connection so all my emails are always fully downloaded.

I don't find that to be a problem. I use the double tap space for periods and let autocorrect handle the rest.

Mountain Lion is plenty proud of its ability to blow up windows to fill your display, a la Windows over a decade ago

I mean come on, even some Linux distos have "spaces".

Or just keep their Mac and install Windows?

That sounds very very similar to Share Sheets which Mountain Lion has built in.

All I listen to all day is BPM (Channel 51)

SO MUCH PINK!!!!

Only if you choose update it, but usually with Android it is the same thing with rooting.

This is Lifehacker, not Giz. =)

This isn't just for cars. It was originally designed for cell phones where you can actually feel elements on the screen such as buttons, keyboard characters, and so on. This way you can type on a touchscreen phone but still get the feedback of a physical keyboard.
