If it’s ripping off a regular amount of money, it’s shitty. If it’s ripping off 3.5 million, there’s no such thing as a person who spent that kind of money on Pokemon cards who doesn’t deserve to be ripped off.

I think the “aggressive promotional campaign” they mention here was entirely on Gizmodo as that’s the only place I’ve ever seen any mention of their products.  My grandma isn’t a regular reader here.

Ultimately, there’s no software that can take the place of raising a child who respects the limits you set.

This is the kind of irrational behavior that got her into a conservatorship to begin with.  She has not changed.  She still has no impulse control, she has crappy judgment and she has the emotional maturity of a spoiled 12 year old.

First I’ve heard of this group (company?/organization?/cult?) and the guy mentioned. Not necessarily doubting the story, but I’m reading quite a bit of opinion, and ‘assumed’ knowledge.
