Nah, 100k is a real mental “I made it” amount of money for a lot of folks — consider that the national median income is $36k (based on the first google result I just looked at). No one read this article and thought “they’re probably making a list of $900,000 jobs.”

Sure elevator mechanics make good money, but there are a lot of ups and downs.

There’s no such thing as toning. “Muscle tone” is a misnomer for muscle definition, which depends on body fat, not rep ranges. Hypertrophy is achieved anywhere within the rep range stated in the blog post.

It isn’t about quality journalism it’s about getting you to click on the article. I did it. I probably have an addiction to garbage articles.

Just because it isn’t in DSM-5 doesn’t mean it wasn’t in earlier versions or that nobody is trying to get it included again. Even if you go to calling it a “control disorder” it’s not like it doesn’t exist or isn’t a problem that people face and just calling it “mental distress” at the end pretty well devalues anyone

My old pointer would be obsessed with removing the squeaker from her toys. She’s rip it open and pull all of the stuffing out with her teeth (spitting the filling out, thank goodness) until she got to the squeaker. Once she reached the prize, she’d squeeze it a few times in victory and then leave it amid the remains

Depends on the dog.  It’s not one-size-fits-all.

they dont want to eat the fish, but they do want to make it late for something.

This popped up the other day on my phone during lunch. It was a change that was not for the good and made it more difficult to navigate around. Someone didn’t think that ergonomics might actually be a thing when they let the interns loose.

Thank you! I have been trying to turn these tab groups off for days.

Can’t argue with free. When Epic first opened their game store they were giving away some top shelf titles. I got Civ 6, Outer Worlds and GTA V for free this year alone. They aren’t going to do that very often (if ever) but they still offer a free game just about every week. I’ve gotten Just Cause 4 and For The King

I came here to post just this but ya beat me to it. Kudos!

If you have a drill get one of these drill brush attachments and use it in low. Takes a few seconds and its only you holding the drill.

I think a toothbrush is an amazing cleaning tool and should be part of your kitchen sink arsenal.

Barkeeper’s friend and a toothbrush can get your can opener clean without the soak.

I have some good news for you, as a nation we have decided to not focus on any of them at all!

Just FYI, you’re allowed to withdraw the principle from a Roth account any time you want with no tax penalty (and without paying any additional taxes on the money) and you can take out a tax-free loan on your balance from a non-Roth account at any time to pay for a down payment.

It depends on your time horizon. Savings account should be for any money you potentially need now (emergency fund) or within a year. 1-3 years you can start looking at CDs or T-bills. 3-7 years maybe expand to safe (municipal?) bonds. 7-10+ years is when you start talking equities/stocks.

I’m not saying he did it wrong...I’m just saying that never playing the credit game can make it harder to to play when you need it. Not only did this person have to take a higher interest rate, like 8% he was turned down by several lenders for lack of history.
