5 digit odometer. I doubt it’s only got 5ok on it.

Agreed, assuming $36k is reasonable for a low mileage, stock example in great shape... some quick napkin math: Deduct $5k for hail, and another $5k for the modifications... then we can talk. Maybe a little more depending on the overall condition too.
This is why I think that Turo for fun cars is a terrible idea. People want a fun car for one of 2 reasons.
I went ND simply because of the horror stories I’ve heard about the reliability of this model. Now, these are anecdotal so maybe it’s not true... but I went with it for my vote.
Good heavens that is in good condition. I do not want one, but if I did I expect that I’d want this one. It looks new. Someone will buy this.
It's a gussied up Nova actually and it's awesome
The only reason why I got here so fast was I read the headline, smashed the Nice Price button in the survey and added my endorsement here.
A big hole suddenly appeared in the road, police and officials are looking into it.
NP, C4 ZR1s are worth a decent amount and this appears to be a very clean, well-maintained example. I know they exist for cheaper, but I see no issue with the seller’s asking price on this one.
No tire kickers (it may fall off.)
I own a (heavily modified) 1986 spider and am doing a bare shell restoration on a 67 Giulia (same basic chassis). The price is probably market, but the car probably only makes sense for someone looking to do some heavy modifications or doesn’t mind a rough looking car if the rust situation is as described (may not be).
Flying to Seattle today. I will ask the Long Suffering Wife if we can go look at it.
I really really really tried to hold off judgement for you to tell us this car had, like, 18k miles on it (and even then I think the price is too high).
I turned a wrench for a living during the carb era, and generally they were pretty trouble free if you left them alone. They absolutely did not like to sit, I’ll grant you that.
fucking amazing!
What’s wrong with a carb? You don’t think Honda has this sorted in 2023? Bikes with carbs run just fine.
Just saying that was what my dad taught me. This would have been in the 1970s I guess. I don’t think the “new fangled” plastic bottles came out until sometime in the 80s, but I can’t be certain of the date.
Reluctant ND for the same red flags. At this age and mileage there are always recommended/required maintenance items due, or overdue.
Most people have NO idea what rebuilt salvage actually means.
I don’t know if you can get that or not. But definitely check with the insurance company. And - like I point out in the article - remember that the salvaged designation does not mean it has been cleared as roadworthy etc. It just means that the car is “complete” and was not rebuilt with stolen parts.
