If you are eating adequate protein your body is not going to look to save existing fat and start eating muscle. That is why any study that does not match protein intake is worthless.

Of course you don’t HAVE to count your calories but you do have to eat less and whether that is accomplished by counting your calories or eating a giant bowl of broccoli to fill you up you have eaten less calories at the end of the day

Because I fundamentally disagree with them on a number of important issues? I know this might be hard for you to understand but there can be varying degrees of thought on subjects that are incredibly complex such as economics, foreign affairs, health care, social policies, etc.

I know it’s a pipe dream but I keep holding out hope for a third party to emerge that isn’t batshit insane

You cannot be a Republican and have any stance that is in anyway construed as anti gun. The NRA and the Teaparty crazies will get you voted out of office at the next possible chance and it drives me insane because it prevents any good Republicans from being voted into office. I know it’s hard to believe those exist…
