As someone who is recently divorced and has a kid I can look back and see that one of the major issues in my previous marriage was the fact that we tried to keep everything as 50/50 as possible. Instead of just doing things for each other we kept score and it made it so we never really wanted to just do nice things

We got these peanut puff snacks from some company that I think was in Israel for our kiddo when she started eating solids. Not only did they work great as a snack for her but it helped introduce her to peanuts and they were absolutely delicious if I ever wanted a snack. Think puffy cheeto but with peanut flavor

This is advice I wish I had paid attention to in undergrad. There were times when I would just sit down and go through a whole chapter and do the practice problems and every time I would know the material so much better that way. At least this kicked in by grad school and I did MUCH better GPA wise and actual learning

I mean, he is free

lol k

lol no

I see your point but even though mine has two parents looking after her it’s only one at a time. There is only solo parenting, we just switch off that. Definitely not the same as someone totally solo but also quite different than two parents together sharing responsibility. Either way, I don’t care who calls

I don’t let too much get to me but that one really grinds my gears. No, having a dog is not like having a kid. You can take a dog to the boarding facility and leave for a month, you can put the dog in a crate and leave the house, and with the exception of the puppy stage or end of life stage there is no reason to get

I guess I technically am considered a single parent as I am divorced and thus single while also having a kid but we coparent so I have definite advantages over someone who is doing EVERYTHING. That said, if I need to get things done when it is my time to have my kid it’s on me. There are no moments of, oh I have a

That was actually my first thought about Zeke. He had a ton of carries last year and stats show a definite drop off for RB’s when they get too many carries

Not only is that dataset going to be incomplete as we have had major technological advances in finding and measuring these storms over the timeline but it really looks more like a random walk to me than a definitive trend. I am not denying climate change or that there could be a relationship but those graphs sure

Any idea if this takes the curvature of the earth into play? I assume it does as basic calculations involving lat and lon can do that.

I mean this in the most respectful way as I am genuinely curious, how and why do you follow this religion? I can’t really see how one would come to that conclusion so I would be interested in hearing more.

It looks like that would be quite uncomfortable with a hat

Trust the process

If he was a good QB he would be, the NFL doesn’t give a damn as long as you are a good player. Sure he is better than a whole lot of backups and even some starters but he still isn’t that good of a QB. If Cam Newton takes a knee and the Panthers cut him you can be pretty damn certain someone is going to pick him up

Thanks, didn’t even know this was a thing. So how do you turn it back on?

Are there any cases for phones or ipads that don’t let them touch the screen? I would like to let my daughter watch a movie in the car on my ipad during long trips but she is too young and would inevitably make the video stop and I wouldn’t be able to fix it as I would be driving.

I have had to answer this question so many times on dating apps (I have a unique job) that my predictive text can basically answer the entire thing for me

One thing that I think you missed is if you are going to post to a subreddit read the side bar (or community info if on mobile) as some have very specific posting guidelines. Also, there are often helpful links that could answer whatever you are looking for without having to post.
