I couldn’t resist doing the whole “accidentally outed racist” bit here, with the biracial kids/grandkids etc. This country is fucking ridiculous.

The following is easy for me to say, since I’m not on the ground challenging these protesters in person. But I’ll say it anyway.

I have a 12 year old. He is a really sweet kid and I absolutely adore him.

Nah, I’m sure even the most virulent racist loves having Omorosa types around. That way they can claim the exception proves the rule, but they’re not racist, they have a black ‘friend’ while doubling the fuck down on that white supremacy.

Then again, today I saw a white dude in a t-shirt that said “I Met God. She’s Black,” and smiled and said, “Yes, I am.”

I’m glad I didn’t run into him when he was out wearing that t-shirt, because I would have pissed myself laughing, and then offered him all my money for his shirt.

And Cream of Wheat, but that’s okay, because a nice pot of lumpy Cream of Wheat made with whole milk or better yet, cream and a bit of brown sugar is God’s breakfast.

Absolutely I agree, these people are working very hard. Even when service or food is not great, they’re probably working hard. If everything is bad, just leave. No need to berate or shame ppl.

I’m continuously astounded by people who know that servers make pennies on the dollar, and fucking rely on tips to make minimum wage in some places, and will not tip, because “it’s not their way,” or “they shouldn’t have to pay the staff’s salary.”

As a former table server, pizza delivery guy, and bartender, I approve this message.
