That’s the thing, if he had a much lower usage rate, and only took better percentage shots he might become a valuable contributor. I really think letting him be a straight up gunner is ruining him.

I tried for two years to get Albert to put Devin Booker on the list of young NBA players who are butt. He’s butt! He is incapable of playing winning basketball. That may change, but for now I feel like he is definitely wildly overrated.
Nevermind that Booker’s stats are hardcore trash, ranging from mediocre to terrible depending on which metric you ask. But hey, 70 points!
Booker is like Aaron Gordon or to go further back, Tyreke Evans. Players who can be solid but instead were treated like foundation pieces for which to build a team around, screwing up both the team’s and the player’s development.
Counterpoint: Public shaming may be the tool most appropriate to change not only his behavior, but that of the next racist.
Ha. No, that’s ok. I watched it last night and found it enjoyable more for nostalgia - the epic confrontation in Piper’s Pit most of all - than anything particularly revealing or insightful about Andre. Was just curious where you came down on it.
Dan, I’ve been looking forward to your review of the Andre the Giant documentary on HBO or at least a blog with your reactions. Did I miss it? Is one coming? What did you think?
Seems exactly what I thought it might be for $39/29. Not bad and improves on the original. Wish they really did something with the sequel besides co-op, the developer was very very very loud mouth about doing an MMO open world, State of Decay 1 is a test just wait for what we do next. That seems walked back a ton.
Exactly. This is a great argument against ever hiring anyone but a white male to do anything.
This is just the typical argument of the misogynist/racist/homophobe who doesn’t like owning up to his prejudice and thus projects it onto someone else, then claims that the prejudice of “those people over there” creates a lamentable reality that the target of the prejudice must tolerate.
Kinja has been eating my hyperlinks lately, so here’s that D’Amato column: https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/columnists/gary-damato/2018/05/11/damato-time-isnt-right-becky-hammon-coach-bucks/599002002/
It was Lovren’s clearance that went off Milner for the own goal.
...wrote the guy with the Tom Brady avatar.
It’s a long known dichotomy that while he’s whiny on the pitch, CR7 is one of the more charitable atheletes around.
That could be five sentences instead of one, only by adding a few words with capital letters. It really is amazing.
His argument against Madrid (outside of ‘they’re rich’) is it’s an amalgam of brilliant individual players brought up in different countries & styles to create a startlingly successful on-field product. Which is actually something that should be commended, but alas...
Manchester United
You’ve got to be kidding me with this. Somehow Barcelona are saints in this capitalist commentary!?! The team that bought Ousmane Dembele this summer for more than anyone Real has ever bought and followed it up by making Philippe Coutinho the second-most expensive player ever? Or Bayern, who weaken their main German…
Tears never tasted so fucking good
Reasons I prefer Madrid among the Spanish giants:
