Citing the old testament as historical evidence of genocide? That’s a bold strategy, Cotton; let’s see if it pays off for them.

Thank you for sharing this. Anyone who reads the comments on these articles regarding the issue of free speech around Israel will witness real and frightening anti-Semitism mixed in with criticism of Israel.

Seems quite fashionable these days to call for punching people in the face whenever they disagree with you.

I hate the Israel-Palestine conflict. I hate the restrictions, daily indignities and worse that Palestinians suffer with every day. I hate the frustrations of moderate to left-wing Israelis who can’t make their voices heard politically (sound familiar?), but who still have to worry about threats of violence. I hate

I think that’s because one of the real complexities of this issue is that there is some anti-semitism tied up in the anti-Israel movement. The problem with that, other than anti-semitism generally being bad, is that whatever percentage of it you want to peg it at does tend to delegitimize the valid points contained

It’s not even that. Despite all the claims of wanting moderate politics on Israel-Palestine the idea of a middle ground is apparently a no-no.

That’s because it’s virtually impossible for college students to fully understand the complexity of the conflict. Anyone who thinks it’s as simply as “colonial oppressor/indigenous victim” has no grasp of either history or nuance.

Funny, Burrows had no problem throwing a punch at Tim Thomas. I guess his rule is don’t fight anyone bigger than you.

That face is just called living in Buffalo.

But he was just being a “agitator” so it’s all OK.

Let’s all take a second to remember that Burrows is the guy who thinks being a victim of child abuse is fair game for trash talk.

maybe “you don’t fight a goalie” is an unwritten rule, but you had already been called for the penalty of goalie interference (or slashing, I’m not sure what he was called for?) while in the crease, when the puck had already been moved away from the crease, so he knew he was being a dick.

That’s a strong take. I know a former coach who would demers.

I hate these continued references to ‘unwritten rules’ in hockey. Even if they are written down, how would most of these guys know?

I feel like I remember that guy from a few years back, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

“My stick gets caught.”

Had to call aides from his bathroom phone for help spelling the word “remarkably”.

Because it takes a TREMENDOUS amount of time for his brain to process even the simplest bit of information. ‘Remarkably’ Sad!

Well, he’s usually in his bathrobe, so I’m guessing masturbation.

Reasons it took him 12 minutes to Tweet what he just saw on tv: GO!
