I think you mean antagonist.

For (most) native English speakers W and V are not interchangeable, and make completely different consonant sounds. Yes, the long name of the letter makes acronyms awkward, which is why some people shorten“Double-U” as simply “Dub” or “Dubs”, for example, BTW becomes “Bee-Tea-Dub”.

To be fair, he did still average 10+ Assists and 7.5 Rebounds in his 22 Games in Boston this year before the trade, so the first part of your statement is actually true. The problem is he can’t score anymore.

I like how he didn’t even really swat at the ball, he just casually put his hand in the path of the shot, making the entire play look so effortless. Young LeBron would have swatted it emphatically. Here LeBron is just like, “Oh, you thought you were going to score on this fast break? How cute.”

You obviously know a lot more about legal standards and the ins and outs of the CBA then I do, so thanks for the insight.

But why do they feel the need to differentiate themselves from “normal” black people in order to infiltrate “high society”?

Love this thing. I ditched my old George Foreman for this and haven’t looked back. I use this for grilling (open and closed), making paninis, grilled cheese, quesadillas, waffles.

On what are you basing your claim that the burden of proof is the same? In practice, the burden of proof is essentially non-existent because the league determines the player’s fate without a hearing at all. The league basically just does whatever the hell they want to, at least until the appeals process kicks in.

It may be based in part on the civil court standard, but it’s not the same thing. Unless I’m mistaken, in the NFL disciplinary policy, the League decides on discipline before the the player gets a hearing to present his defense, which is very different from how things work in Civil Court, no?

The NFL doesn’t follow the civil court standard either, so my point is as meaningful as the comment that I am replying to.

It’s not a civil trial, either, fwiw.

It was Conan, but I agree with your comment nonetheless.

But in a criminal trial, by definition a person should only be convicted if the prosecution proves guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Sounds like there’s a healthy amount of reasonable doubt here.

For a guy that’s about to be a free agent, he sure doesn’t seem to care about how much money he’s costing himself by essentially quitting on Dallas in the middle of a Playoff run.

Before the trade, when he was putting up triple-doubles as the best player on a green (pun intended) Celtics team, his position was always

Wouldn’t Sim Tower make more sense?

I have these and I love them so much that I just bought more.

Looks to me like Mirotic nudged Koufos a bit with his forearm, which could have contributed to him losing balance. It's subtle, but it's there.

Philly is about 150-200 miles south of Buffalo.

There's a difference between being a shitty person and being a shitty friend.
If the grooms friends want to get hammered and go to strip club, they can do that literally anytime they want to.
Bachelor parties are absolutely about sending the Groom off, but not wanting to go to a strip club has nothing to do with
