Eh, he probably meant well, and was trying to make too many people happy and lost sight of the fact that the night was supposed to be about you. It would have been better if he had just organized a separate strip club outing for the people that wanted to go on a different night, though.

Sorry man, that sucks. I hope your friends/brothers have grown to be better friends since then.

Only if you have shitty friends that care more about strippers then actually being a good friend.

I agree with ericrz. The Bachelor party is supposed to be about the groom, not simply an excuse for all of the groom's friends to go to a strip club. Super selfish move by your brother, here. You had every right to bail, and the fact that they were going to still go without you is just, super shitty.

This sounds like good advice for going out anywhere, not just strip clubs.

Nacho Cheese Doritos aren't even the best Doritos (Sweet Spicy Chili). They're not even the second best Doritos (Cool Ranch). The fact that they won proves that America is a civilization in decline.

EDIT: Never mind.

How could Nacho Cheese Doritos win when they aren't even the best Doritos?

I seriously don't understand how Michael Holley can work there and maintain his sanity.

She looks like a jacked, gun-obsessed Melissa Joan Hart.

Fair enough.

I remember watching the game back in 2008 when ND lost to Syracuse and watching the postgame on field interview with Clausen. He basically showed zero respect for the fact that 'Cuse just flat out played a better football game than them. All he could say was "I can't believe we lost. We shouldn't have lost this game.

The point is, I really don't care what people think about me in particular, but the author seems to be implying that people are only capable of being empathetic to people of their own race, and to demonstrate behavior that would indicate otherwise must only be out of a self-serving need to be viewed as good by others,

I don't disagree with what you're saying, but when someone accuses you of being disingenuous and self-serving, you're not allowed to defend yourself?

I don't think it's fair to say that white people are all looking for "a pat on the back." Is it impossible that we are genuinely outraged and empathetic to the struggles of people who don't have the same skin color as we do?

You're assuming that white people who are expressing outrage on social media are only doing so as a means of positive reinforcement, rather than as a means of venting frustration at a deeply flawed society. I think that's a bit unfair (though I fully appreciate how small of a grievance that is compared to all the

Technically, both murder and manslaughter are homicide.

If you're paying $60 for an XBox live Gold membership, you're doing it wrong. There are deals all the time on 12-month membership cards. I've been an XBox live Gold member for like 5 years and I have never paid more than $40 for a year of Gold.
