I only messed with it for a little bit and caught one pokemon (on my steering wheel no less....I was parked for the record, just adding that). Do the pokemon ever fight or are you just catching them?

I’m about to do a marathon run of 999 (which I only played a little but enjoyed) and VLR then work my way to ZTD. Something to keep me occupied until Danganronpa 3 comes out. I can't get enough of these types of games.

Well, I’m depressed now. The level of hype and fun I had as a kid for games like Mario and Star Fox 64, it’s just not there anymore. Nowadays, I “look forward to games” and “playing this game is cool” but it doesn't feel the same. The joys of getting old I guess.

I always wished the online Final Fantasies weren’t numbered, it makes my OCD go crazy when I’m trying to complete all the games in the series and have no chance of doing so with those two since I’m awful at MMO’s (I get all the Pepto Bismol symptoms at once when I try to talk to someone in games. I’m a little jealous that there wasn’t a Knuckles and Robotnik (Yes, Robotnik!) plush when I was a kid. I’m also sad that this is a reminder that Sonic just isn’t the same anymore. The new designs kill me.

Whew, that’s a relief. I’m trying not to let my hype get clouded, but the “hold down to attack forever” and especially the “aim and throw your blizzaga balls” had me really worried from the demo. I could handle the former but absolutely hated using magic in the platinum demo.
