I'm nearing the finale of Mafia III so I hope to finish that up to make way for Horizon: Zero Dawn and Zelda: Breath of the Wild next week. I'm not getting a Switch though, I'll be playing on the trusty ol' Wii U!

I believe the working title of Return of the Living Dead was Bust It in the Damn Head.

I can't praise the RE7 DLC enough. Seriously, the "Bedroom" and "21" stories are just as demented if not more so than anything in the main game (and playing "21" in VR might be one of the coolest VR experiences I've had yet).

Thanks to the article I just had some Georgia Gold for lunch. It was good, but much like the Nashville Hot, the real thing is better…. Honestly, the name is a bit confusing because I thought mustard-based BBQ was a distinctly South Carolina thing. i've had some at Columbia staple Maurice's, but don't recall ever

Rip the skin off a chicken thigh and stuff it with red beans and rice. Known as a "cajun taco"

I'm still bro'n it up in Final Fantasy XV, and I'm actually a bit surprised I haven't got bored with it yet.

Pickle in a pouch and a Tijuana Mama! *vomits*

YES! Now I can reinstall all those 100+ PS Plus freebies I'll probably never play anyway!

Well, after I beat Resident Evil 7 Sunday night, I dove back into Final Fantasy XV.

I think splitting my time between the sun-soaked bro-down that is FFXV and the gloomy isolation of Resident Evil VII makes for a good yin-and-yang of gaming this weekend.

I've been playing it in VR, and it is fucking intense. I got a VR at launch and have become pretty acclimated to it, so I've been playing with full 360 degree movement. I can only play about 30 minutes though before I'm a crumpled, sweaty mess. It is glorious.

Yep, especially when it wasn't your fault like mine was—dude blazed right through a red light and plowed into me.

After being in a scary car wreck last week that totaled both vehicles but miraculously left no one hurt, I've been needing a bit of escape. So I've really gotten into Final Fantasy XV. Been having a blast tooling around the countryside on chocobos with my J-bros, and I'm 12 hours deep and only at chapter 3.

Well, my point is, for someone like me who already owns 8 on the U and has bought all the DLC, getting a fixed battle mode, a new item and and handful of new characters is hardly a $60 value proposition.

It's more The Last Guardian for me this weekend, and I'm also working on a second playthrough of Uncharted 4, mainly because I've upgraded my A/V setup to 4K/HDR, 7.2 audio system and PS4 Pro since I first played it at launch.

I've been countless times since I was a kid, from vacations with family, to getting drunk there when the drinking age was still 18… and I hate to say this, and i'm sure some locals would want to cut me for saying it, but I think New Orleans has lost a lot of its charm post-Katrina.

I have several friends that have moved down there, and my take on it is this: it's a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. Rent is outrageous but the jobs don't pay in kind, and while the murder rate is nothing to sneeze at, property crime is out of control. Have a friend who has had his bike stolen

I live in Jackson, Mississippi so it's only a three-hour drive! I don't get down there much even then though because I'm a complete homebody. A gamer that doesn't like to leave the house, who'd a thunk it?

Not going to be doing a ton of gaming this weekend, because I'm going to New Orleans Comic Con on Saturday! Woo-hoo!
