I'll take that snazzy Veruca Salt number in green, plz.

Grandpa Has Fallen

I guess I'm a font nerd. When we watched the first episode I said to my wife, "Wow, that looks just like a Stephen King book cover."

Got back from a week's vacation visiting family on Monday, and so far I've been catching up on other media (Stranger Things, the Batman v. Superman blu-ray).

Being that they're both Universal properties, how about a Furious/Bourne crossover?

Both of them were kinda hard. I had to break out the Game Genie to finish.

Man, I really want to love Street Fighter V. The core game is fantastic. But I've been turned off by the way they implemented "fight money."

I always wondered why Sega never sequelized or rebooted this one, since the central conceit of a guy that can turn into a mega-beast after collecting powerups is a pretty solid one for a video game.

He has also denied any attachment to the porn parody, The ExpendaBalls.

Picked up three games from the Xbox sale: Red Dead Redemption, Just Cause 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. Looks like it's gonna be another last gen extravaganza weekend!

Prostitute: I said fracking, not fapping!

*Chad Kroeger reads AV Club comment dejectedly, cancels Crystal Pepsi Presents Nickelback World Tour*

But can I still listen to their song on the Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack whilst murdering hookers?

These are the Wavves I know, I know: 0

Appetite for Deconstructed Cuisine

Yeah, we're totally beyond something like that.

Half the fun of the UC games isn't necessarily their gameplay, it's from the immaculate level of polish over every inch of the game, sound design especially.

I remember when old PC games came with a bunch of things like maps, diaries, books, etc. that you had to pore over for clues. Like Leather Goddeses of Phobos with the scratch 'n' sniff card and 3-D comic. Seems the internet killed fun stuff like that.

I finished Quantum Break last night. Great game, if a little weird and rough around the edges, which could also be said about Remedy's other games as well. Does anybody know if there are multiple endings according to the choices you make? I kind of got the impression with all the game's talk about time being "set,"

You're not getting your throat slit until you clean your plate, young man!
